Three-way tie for top spot in Germany

Last weekend’s event in Travemünde (in the north of Germany) was full of tight racing, with plenty of spectacular shots on Sail-TV. Both divisions took part and 66 races were completed. In the first division the clear winner was the “Chiemsee Yacht-Club” team, from “Lindauer Segler Club”, with “Seglerhaus am Wannsee” third. Previous overall leaders “Deutscher Touring Yacht-Club” could only manage 6th and they are now sharing the lead with “Lindauer” and “Wannsee”, all on 9 points, with “Chiemsee” 4th (17 pts). In the second division “Seglervereinigung 1903 Berlin” sailed brilliantly to take the win, with a strong “Mühlenberger Segel Club” team 2nd and “Segelkameradschaft Das Wappen von Bremen” 3rd. Thousands of spectators watched the races live at the SAP Sail Cube right on the beach. Public viewing at its best!
