With a lot of heat the first races of the SAILING Champions League took place in Tutzing today. Despite light wind conditions there was a lot going on on the water and every metre was fought in the four races with the result of three penalties and one crash. The hosting club, the Deutscher Touring Yacht-Club, was able to make full use of its home advantage and sailed to first place in its race. The Norddeutsche Regatta Verein and the Segel- und Motorboot Club Überlingen, both also from Germany, are at the top of the table, too, and lead with equal points with the host.
