The Women’s SAILING Champions League 2020, which was originally scheduled for 23 to 25 October in Cascais, Portugal, had to be cancelled due to existing and imminent travel restrictions on the Iberian peninsula.

As those restrictions made it impossible for many registered teams to participate in the regatta this year, the SAILING Champions League, together with the event promoter SailCascais and the organizing Clube Naval de Cascais, made the decision to discard the event from the regatta calendar 2020.

The competition of the best women’s club teams of the National Sailing Leagues will return in 2021.
